This guy is just so busy at the moment - touring worldwide with Sade, recording and performing with Incognito etc etc.
But as with anything, good things come to those who wait, so I'm delighted to be able to announce that that TONY MOMRELLE will be performing live in concert on the Saturday night in the 'Without Boundaries' room - he'll be bringing along his own special band for the show too - so it's certainly one not to be missed !!

TONY MOMRELLE is an R&B and soul singer and songwriter, one of the most exciting and significant musicians on modern British stage.
Tony started studying music when he was just eight years old. He was lucky to grow up in the church learning to sing gospel. Tony started rapping at the age of 13 and got into a hip hop band. When he was 18 he started getting into professional singing and song writing which also meant doing backing vocals for various artists and vocal producing.
All of these lead Tony to tour with some of the greatest artists in the world such as ELTON JOHN, GLORIA ESTEFAN, CELINE DION, JANET JACKSON, SADE, TAKE THAT, GARY BARLOW, ADNREA BOCELLI, GWEN STEFANI, GABRIELLE, ROBERT PALMER, BEAUTIFUL SOUTH , Gospel music group SEVEN and so on - way too many to mention!..
His success in the touring event impressed INCOGNITO's frontman, BLUEY MAUNICK and thus, offered him the job as the lead male vocalist of the famous British Acid-jazz band where he resides for 6 years. Before his stint in the world renowned INCOGNITO Tony was already solo recording artist who has released two studio albums under his name.
Music critics such as John Rockwell and Paul Morley consider Momrelle as the new Stevie Wonder of the 21st century because of his similarity to the music legend's vocal vibe. While on tour with INCOGNITO in Japan Tony got a suprise phone call from STEVIE WONDER to say he loved his voice and was a fan of the band.
Through the years Tony contributed on many albums, some of those are SADE's "LOVERS LIVE", INCOGNITO's "LIFE STRANGER THAN FICTION", "ELEVEN", "BEES + THINGS + FLOWERS" and "ADVENTURES IN BLACK SUNSHINE", TERRY CALLIER's "SPEAK YOUR PEACE" and "TOTAL RECALL", AARON CARTER'S "MOST REQUESTED HITS" and "ANOTHER EARTHQUAKE", SKI OAKENFULL's "RISING SON" etc...

Tony Momrelle; British R&B singer and is the current lead vocalist of the band, Incognito.
Before his stint in Incognito, Momrelle was already a solo recording artist who released two studio albums under his name. Also, he was once a member of gospel music group Seven. In a year, he toured with both D'Sound, and the Brand New Heavies as a guest performer. His success in touring impressed Incognito's frontman, Bluey Maunick, and he offered him the job as the vocalist of the acid-jazz outfit.
He made his Incognito full-debut on the band's 2006 album, Bees + Things + Flowers, in which he contributed as a main vocalist.

It's now only just around the corner, so it's with great anticipation we look forward to the next Prestatyn Legends Weekender taking place next month - Thursday 14th to Monday 18th October.
And for those that like their 'Modern Soul' we have another mouth watering event lined up for you. With LIVE performances on the Friday night from THE TAVARES who are still made up of 4 of the original 5 brothers who took the soul scene by storm in a wave of disco fever in the mid to late 70's. As a group however beside the well known chart topping hits, they made some seriously good music in the latter part of the 70's and into the early eighties with terrific albums for Capitol Records during that period.
In addition to this - Saturday evening see's TONY MOMRELLE grace the stage in the 'WITHOUT BOUNDARIES' arena complete with his own band. Recent years have seen Mr Momrelle front vocals for INCOGNITO as the male lead of the group, as well as a hectic worldwide touring schedule with SADE, plus recording tracks for his own soon come solo project when time allows him to ! Compared favourably to a young STEVIE WONDER vocally in his prime (with Stevie a big fan himself). The future looks very rosy indeed for one of the finest vocalists to have ever surfaced here in the UK.

DJ wise we've added youngster and new kid on the block !! : - ) COLIN CURTIS to the 'Modern Soul' line-up after his well received debut at the March event. Seriously though he isn't somebody that actually needs too much introduction - albeit to say he's been there and done it all for nearly 40 odd years from the early days at the Blackpool Mecca, The Jazz Funk explosion of the late 70's / early eighties, to the club scene in Manchester, Weekenders such as Southport & Blackpool etc to a still prolific work schedule today at many of the finest gigs up and down the country - so welcome aboard Sir !
Room wise we have some key design changes being made to the 'Without Boundaries' room and without wishing to give too much away - you'll just have to turn up and see for yourself : - )) . Hopefully you'll be mightily impressed though. So what are you waiting for, get booking now !!
